The International Taxation course is an important resume-enhancing course for our MBA students. The big-four (EY, PwC, Deloitt, KPMG) are involved in providing taxation services to several Fortune-500 companies and have set up large offices in India to handle these services.
PES is the first university at which EY is offering this partnership at the PG level.

The students of PES University are proud winners of three awards in the YuvaratnaNXT, 2017 national competition. The awards are constituted to inspire budding architects to imaginatively present ideas from a range of versatile products manufactured by Birla White. Over 400 entries from around the world were submitted. The theme for this year was: Indian festivals and culture. The challenge was to design a wall surface of size six feet by four feet size in a novel way using Birla White cement and its value added products such as Levelplast, textura and GRC.
On PES University foundation day, Prof. CNR Rao and Prof. MRD merit scholarship award ceremony was held at PES University premises today evening. Padma Vibhushana Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala was a chief guest for the function. Dr. Heggade felicitated two students, who excelled in GATE 2018 and JAM as well as a female student, who won Ekalavya award by Government of Karnataka. He also awarded Prof. CNR Rao and Prof. MRD scholarship awards to toppers in each department.
The made in India dialysis unit underwent trials in Mysuru, The company credited with designing the machine has patents and is in active collaborations with premier institutions, including IIT Kharagpur, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) and PESIT.

Keerthana received the prestigious Eklavya award for her outstanding performance in Rowing competitions. The national rowing champion is a proud recipient of an impressive trophy from Karnataka state Youth Empowerment and Sports Department and a cash prize of Rs two lakhs. Keerthana is a student of fourth semester of Computer Science and Engineering program.
In IoT Challenge 2018, held at IIT Bombay, the innovative solution that revolutionizes farming in cities devised by Team Vertech won the top honours. Competing against over forty qualifying teams from colleges across India the remote control mechanism powered by Android application designed to monitor soil moisture, temperature, humidity and lighting won Rs 10,000/- as cash prize and other Prizes worth Rs 35,000/-.
PES University students secured first place in men’s Badminton and men’s Chess events at Kreedothsava 18 organized by BMSCE on March 9-10 2018. They secured first place in men’s football, second place in women’s tennis and men’s basketball and third place in men’s chess events at Revels-18 organized by MIT, Manipal University from March 7 to 11, 2018.
The results for the GATE 2018 entrance examinations held for admissions to post-graduate Engineering courses in IITs, NITs and IISc have been declared on Saturday. Two students of PES University, Bengaluru, have bagged first two ranks at the all-India level in GATE XE, Engineering Sciences. Rahul Kashyap a final year B.Tech student in Mechanical Engineering has bagged first rank and Manoj N Dixith from the same class bagged 2nd rank. The test was held online on February 3, 4, 10 and 11th in various cities across the country.
