Vibha Chetan and Rohan Sridhar received the ‘Best Student Presentation’ in student category at the International Conference on Future of Education 2018. They co-authored paper titled Evolution of education through gamification with Ganesh. Vibha and Rohan are students of design program at PES University. The conference inviting academia, scholars, researchers, industry experts and policy makers with broad and diverse research interests from around the world was held from June 26 to 27, 2018 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Raghav S, who is from the PG Dept of Computer Science Engineering department of PES University has developed the soon to be launched app for the purpose.

Dream for every engineer is to create something of his own. Team Enigma the collegiate automotive club of PESIT South Campus, engineering college at Electronic City, built three cars this year. One was an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle), Hybrid car (runs on electricity and fuel) and a GO KART to represent PESIT-BSC at various National events.

The national rowing champion is a proud recipient of an impressive trophy from Karnataka state Youth Empowerment and Sports Department and a cash prize of Rs two lakhs. Keerthana is a student of fourth semester of Computer Science and Engineering program.
In IoT Challenge 2018, held at IIT Bombay, the innovative solution that revolutionizes farming in cities devised by Team Vertech won the top honours. Competing against over forty qualifying teams from colleges across India the remote control mechanism powered by Android application designed to monitor soil moisture, temperature, humidity and lighting won Rs 10,000/- as cash prize and other Prizes worth Rs 35,000/-.
