2090 Innovate-2-Sustain Hackathon provided students with an opportunity to formulate comprehensive business plans that address the emerging need for a sustainable lifestyle. Mr. Naren Raj, co-founder of Rescript outlined the process of ideation with an overview of creative thinking and spontaneity. Ms. Shashini and Ms. Renuka Pooja presented real world examples of waste segregation and underscored the significance of starting from scratch for building a sustainable future. In the Revolution round, students were tasked with finding feasible and efficient solutions for their respective problem statements. Impact Catalyst round focused on skill development, skill analysis, and financial aspects. Solution Synthesis round saw the students refining their final presentations. Department of BBA organized 2090 Innovate-2-Sustain Hackathon in collaboration with Government of Karnataka, Hasiru Dala, a social impact organization dedicated to improving the lives of waste pickers, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on October 13-14, 2023 at Ring Road campus.
