The fest not only captured the essence of cutting edge technology but also provided a dynamic platform for students from varied backgrounds to showcase and hone their competitive spirits. The week commenced with an enthralling dance performance by the students of BBA from Kalaantrika, the cultural club. The intellectually stimulating week featured the eagerly awaited BIZ-GPT the business and management event with the compelling theme of AI Integrated in the Business World. Merchant Matrix, the entrepreneurship club hosted the event Enrigue in which students immersed themselves in a unique fusion of entertainment and industry relevance. The entrepreneurial guessing game, featuring AI-generated baby pictures tested participant’s memory and business acumen. Strategic jigsaw puzzles challenged problem-solving skills while fostering teamwork and critical thinking through the assembly of brand logos. The logo recognition segment prompted students to recall brands and tested their memory skills. Crafting prompts for AI image generators provided a creative exercise, allowing participants hands-on experience with the dynamic capabilities of artificial intelligence. Incorates, the Business Communication Club, set up an AI Photobooth in Tech Park that was open during the break hours. The booth served as a platform for students to capture AI-themed pictures and reminded them of the growing influence of artificial intelligence in our daily lives. Avyana, the IB club tested the combination of memory prowess and physical agility with two engaging games. Mega-Mind challenged participants to test their memory acumen within a tight 45-second window, as they matched nations and flags. BigFoot required participants to match their limbs to cards on the floor depicting specific palm and foot patterns. Eco Frame Fusion, an event by iSocial, the CSR club tested participants’ ability to integrate AI editing tools to enhance their work, while focusing on environmental themes. Probe, the media club, orchestrated a captivating event blending innovative thinking and the harmonious integration of AI tools in fostering collaborative problem-solving. Participants engaged in decoding visual representations using the innovative AutoDraw AI in the first round. In the second round, participants delved into a realm of riddles, testing their wit and deductive reasoning within a time constraint. The culmination of the event saw teams analyzing evidence to unravel a thrilling murder mystery. Green Peace, the eco club, hosted Eco Enscape which began with groups of participants ranking various items based on their carbon footprint. Qualifying teams proceeded to embark on an exciting treasure hunt, deciphering clues to unveil the hidden treasure. Teams had to utilize their creativity and innovation to repurpose the found items into a best out of waste creation. The final segment involved teams presenting their transformed treasures to a panel of judges, showcasing both their environmental awareness and artistic skills. The panel Discussion on The Next Big Thing in the Business World featured esteemed members that included Arpit Tandon, AI Business Director of CGI; Smera Kumar, Strategy Consultant; Ganeshkumar, Director at Rakuten; and Sathya Prasad, Director of CIE PES. The panel delved into the ethical considerations and practical applications of AI and Machine Learning in shaping future careers. The panelists highlighted the pivotal role of Machine Learning, in processing vast datasets efficiently—a crucial skill for aspiring business professionals. They spoke about how the integration of Machine Learning into business education is paramount, given its ability to enhance decision-making processes and provide valuable insights. Kelpie, the marketing club of the BBA department organized Hush n Hustle: From Hushed Whispers to Silent Strategies showcasing their expertise in marketing dynamics. The event commenced with the intriguing Jingle Jam, challenging participants to decipher brand jingles while immersed in loud music, fostering strategic whispers among teammates. The Innofusion round elevated the challenge, tasking teams with crafting marketing plans for peculiar combinations like Burger King and baby diapers and presenting before the panel of judges. People’s Partner conducted the event Word Play. In the Bingo round, participants, in pairs, called out random letters and letters present on their boards were struck off. The top eleven players to achieve five letters in a row advanced to the second round. In the second round, titled Would you Rather, participants faced two management-related scenarios, requiring them to make rational decisions, showcasing their managerial acumen and spontaneity. The Department of BBA and BBA Business Analytics organized the management week from November 6-10, 2023.
