A memorable experience crafted by PESU students

Aatmatrisha, is an eagerly awaited campus event of the University. Students of PES institutions made the most of this opportunity to demonstrate their talent in the spirit of competition and collaboration.

The cultural bash held on March 6 and 7, ’16 brought together an enthusiastic gathering of over two thousand. The run-up to the festival had live stand-up comedy shows by Biswa Kalyan Rath and Gangawathi Pranesh. Living up to the track record of bringing interesting themes to the campus, this edition’s organizing team conceived and executed the two day festival. The program was inaugurated by Dr M R Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University accompanied by Layataranga. The music group is known for fusion music blending Carnatic music in south India tradition with other music forms. The closely fought competitions, as diverse as informal, literary, cultural and creative, quiz and events had the audience on the toes more often. The final event, CulNite featured rendition of chart busters by the duo of Salim-Sulaiman interspersed with performances by active campus teams: Pulse, Trance, Sanskrithi, and Pitch Please. The event was managed flawlessly by the student teams. Operating in the background, the team of thirty five students handled all the tasks from getting sponsors to managing logistics, finances to safety measures and the contingencies.
