AT-Home 2017 turned out to be a gala event for wishing a bright professional career ahead to the graduating students of BE, MTech, MCA and MBA programs at PESIT Bangalore South Campus. Each department announced the best out-going student.
TEAM AVIONS FLIES HIGH AT AERO DESIGN CHALLENGE. CLINCHED THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE AWARD WHICH INCLUDES RS 1 LAKH CASH PRIZE.
Team Avions – the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) design team participated in micro class category and won 1st place at SAE India Southern Section Aero Design Competition held at Chennai. The team members are students of PESIT- Bangalore South Campus.
A group of final year students of mechanical engineering Sachin, Sumith, Surender and Irsahd under the guidance of Dr. S.V. Satish from PESIT-BSC have invented an automatic screen printing machine.
Vibha and Aabharan have been selected to participate in Make in India Bootcamp to be held in IIT Delhi and IIT Mandi. They are among the 48 students selected from across the globe. The camp is all about innovation, design thinking, fabrication and entrepreneurship with participation of students from leading universities like Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Asia School of Business, and IITs.
At the outset, it gives us immense pleasure to announce the TOPPERS of PESSAT – 2017 entrance examination conducted for admission to B.Tech programs of PES University for the academic year 2017-18. PES University successfully conducted PESSAT 2017 during May 2 – 20, 2017.
Innovative ideas of PESIT students on display at Bengaluru South Campus, Hosur Road.
At Project Mela 2017, 256 projects showcased practical applications of innovative ideas.
Team Aeolus from PES University participated in the AIAA- Design Build and Fly Challenge and secured the 3rd position in Asia and the 27th position worldwide. The team was placed above teams from prestigious universities such as Stanford, Cal Tech and the University of Michigan. In the competition was held in Tucson, Arizona USA, teams were required to develop an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle capable of being loaded into a cylindrical tube. Team Aeolus designed custom mechanisms for the same which led to them having one of the smallest and most efficient planes in the competition.
Sports Awards are given every year to recognize and reward excellence in sports by Department of Physical Education & Sports. The awardees received their awards from Prof. D. Jawahar, Pro-Chancellor and Dr. KNB Murthy, Vice Chancellor.
The second edition of Sports Magazine SPARDHA was unveiled by Prof. D. Jawahar. It was an afternoon of fun and excitement as everyone experienced the magazine come alive through enlightening engaging discussions centred on Sports & Fitness.
