PES University, Bengaluru, is developing a microsatellite for Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The satellite—RSAT, will be used for carrying Satellite-Based Automatic Identification System (SB-AIS) payload to monitor ships in international waters and provide vital information about their movements.
