Peer Relationships Workshop
The workshop was aimed to address various aspects of peer relationships among children in adopted schools. The interaction offered insights for students of psychology to deepen their role as budding mental health professionals in understanding life span development experientially. They could closely analyze the tools for fostering healthy peer connections. The workshop provided students with transformative learning experiences that deepened their understanding of human behavior, social interactions, and the complexities of interpersonal relationships over time. Through active engagement, reflection, and collaboration, schoolchildren can be prepared for promoting positive peer relationships and fostering inclusive communities. The workshop covered topics of understanding peer relationship dynamics, identifying signs of healthy and unhealthy interactions, strategies for nurturing positive connections and resolving conflicts, and encouraging inclusivity and empathy among school children. Peer Relationships Workshop was facilitated by psychology students on February 2, 2024.
