Legal awareness programme in adopted villages conducted

Students of law conducted a comprehensive survey in the adopted villages to gauge the level of legal literacy, pending disputes and access to various government schemes. The students followed it up by performing a set of plays and songs highlighting the benefits of legal awareness. The plays addressed crucial legal issues, covering topics such as the victim compensation scheme, Dowry Prohibition Act, Child Marriage Act, and the importance of voting. Legal Services Committee of Faculty of Law organized the legal awareness programme for the adopted villages of Shambudecanahalli and Pura of Madbal Panchayat, Magadi, Ramanagara district on February 17, 2024.
