Talk on computational signal processing
Drawing from his rich experience, Aaron Celestine Prakash provided real-life examples, showcasing the practical applications of signal processing in sound manipulation, audio enhancement, image rendering in gaming and noise reduction in his talk at the student technical forum. He highlighted broader applications of signal processing beyond audio engineering in the fields of telecommunications and gaming. Aaron's experience includes live audio mixing for large-scale events, LM386 stereo system and similarity indexing for Carnatic Music and as a research intern at the Centre for Robotics, Automation, and Intelligent Systems, focusing on music perception for cochlear implant patients. The talk by Aaron, student of eighth semester, was organized by Signal Processing, Imaging, Reasoning and Artificial Learning (SPIRAL) student technical forum under the Signal Processing and Systems Engineering (SPaSE) domain, Department of ECE on April 3, 2024.
