PES University inks Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KUKA in the field of Robotics
PES University signed an MOU with KUKA India Limited to establish the centre of excellence in Robotics and Automation in its Electronic City Campus. The Centre of Excellence"Pragati Vidya Kendra" will serve as a hub for innovation, research, and skill development, equipping students and professionals with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in the robotic and automation fields.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on Sept 11, 2024 by Mr. Allan Tam, Chief Regional Officer of KUKA APeC from Malaysia and Prof. J. Suryaprasad, Vice Chancellor,PES University. In addition, the Centre will serve as KUKA’s Bengaluru office, enhancing service delivery and providing robotic solutions for the Automotive, Electronics, FMCG, and General Engineering industries. Mr. Abhijeet Mishra, Managing Director of KUKA India Limited, Prof. Jawahar, Pro Chancellor,PES University,Prof. Nagarjuna, Pro Vice Chancellor,PES University and the KUKA team along with the faculty team of PES were present on the occasion.
