Workshop on Warli Art
Warli Art, an ancient tribal art form from Maharashtra, is known for its minimalistic patterns and deep connection to nature. The workshop introduced students to the cultural heritage embedded in Warli Art and encouraged them to explore how indigenous art forms can be integrated into modern architectural design. Students gained hands-on experience in creating Warli-inspired patterns and learned how traditional art can influence spatial design. The workshop emphasized the significance of incorporating cultural elements in architecture, fostering creativity, and promoting sustainable practices by drawing inspiration from nature. The workshop on Warli Art titled Mind through Space led by faculty members Ar Ramesh Katti, Ar Yashaswini and Ar. Nidhi was organized by the Faculty of Architecture on October 22, 2024 at RR campus.
