PES Design Showcase 2024: A Grand Celebration of Creativity and Innovation

PES University has organized the Design Showcase 2024 on the 12th, 13th and 14th of December, celebrating the culmination of four years of relentless creativity, dedication, and innovation by over 100 talented design students. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of industry leaders, recruiters, parents, and design aficionados, eager to witness the students' exceptional portfolios and capstone projects.

Inaugurating the event, Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Pro Chancellor of PES University, commended the students for their innovative spirit. He remarked, “The PES Design Showcase is a testament to our students' ingenuity and hard work. It reflects the Department of Design's commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers, ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow.”

Prof. Chitra Viswanathan, Director of the Department of Design, lauded the students and faculty for their collaborative efforts. She noted, “This showcase is more than an exhibition; it is a celebration of the transformative journey our students have undertaken. Their portfolios and capstone projects are reflective of their talent, perseverance, and readiness to make an impact as professional designers.”

Students presented projects spanning various domains, including product design, user experience, graphic design, and environmental design, drawing accolades from visitors for their originality and technical prowess. Sharing his experience, Aditya Muralidhar, a final-year student, stated, “The past four years at PES have been a journey of growth and discovery. This event feels like the perfect culmination of our hard work and learning, preparing us to step into the world as confident and skilled designers.”
