Expert talk on self-awareness
Embracing individuality by using self-awareness as a success driver allows one to recognize one's personality and values suitable for the right career. Dr. Varsha Sreevatsa highlighted how self awareness increases emotional intelligence, decision-making, and career decisions. She touched upon topics like nature and nurture, personality tests, and Maslow's Hierarchy of needs and how they impact our lives. Through group exercises, students reflected on their past and realized how self-awareness impacts perceptions. She introduced personality tests to help figure out how we respond to things. She showed, in a dynamic exercise, how individuals respond differently when their needs are satisfied compared to when they are unsatisfied. She underlined that self-awareness makes our attitude and outlook regarding individuals and situations change. The team shut their eyes and remembered an old challenging moment, examining how they reacted and how they would do things differently. The Department of BBA and BBA (Business Analytics) hosted the workshop by the HR Club titled People's Partner - Insight to Impact on February 19, 2025 at RR campus.
