Food safety training
Knowing the best practices of implementing and maintaining food hygiene in catering businesses is critical for the hospitality industry. Dr. Mamatha Mishra, food safety and nutrition expert elaborated on how food grade and food safety affects the quality of the restaurant. She outlined the standards that covered: Four D’s for pest control summed up as Deny Entry, Deny Food, Deny Shelter, Destroy; two principles of traceability and transparency; Glass Policy; dangerous zone where microbes inhabit, changing garbage lining, humidity levels and forms of guarantee. A session on Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) Food Safety Training and Certification, conducted by Dr. Mamatha Mishra was organized by the department of BBA HEM on November 6, 2023 at RR campus.
