It is with immense joy and pride that we wish to state that PES University has been a beacon in the field of education for the past fifty years. PES University has come a long way since its inception in 1972, playing a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape in two states i.e. Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

People’s Education Society (PES) was established on October 11, 1972 by a teacher Prof. M. R. Doreswamy. The PES PU College was started with just 40 students in a rented gymnasium in Hanumathanagar with a vision to create a professionally superior and ethically strong global workforce. Today PES is a brand by itself in the arena of education and has grown to be the most sought after in the country for quality practices and campus discipline.

Our Founder Chairman Prof. M.R. Doreswamy (MRD) is an Educationist Par Excellence who has not only built the institutions ranging from KG to PG and beyond over 30 programs of study spanning across Arts, Architecture, Computer Applications, Commerce, Design, Engineering, Law, Management, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy but also nurtured them to become a global brand name which bears testimony to his passion for quality education. PES Institutions have over 25,000 students and 2m500 faculty members and staff, spread across four different campuses in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

An admirable feature of the PES institutions is its exceptional student performance, not merely in written exams but in placements across the globe, based on merit and campus interviews conducted by more than 300 national/global companies.

As PES University celebrates its 50th year, we boast an incredibly rich history in the State as pioneers of higher education. For us, Golden Jubilee symbolizes a time of revival, and this is exactly what we seek to do as we celebrate our Golden Jubilee: revitalize all elements of our mission: from teaching learning, research and innovation, campus facilities and processes, our University goes beyond celebration, to a sustainable commitment for the benefit of our most important asset of Bharat i.e. our youth.

For this, as a forward-thinking, we will continue building on the values and foundations of success that we established over the past 50 years, and we will keep working together to continue serving our communities, society, state and Bharat with the best way we can in providing quality sustainable education.

We have come a long way in our history and we know exactly where we want to go next. Looking forward, remaining adaptable and resilient, and striving for educational excellence, we have defined a set of goals that we seek to achieve under our Golden Jubilee, in cooperation with our stakeholders who believe in our mission and share our vision for a better future.

The festivities are scheduled to take place from January 3 to 6, 2024, and we wholeheartedly invite you to join us in commemorating this remarkable milestone.

The Golden Jubilee Celebrations will be graced by distinguished speakers delivering keynote addresses in the form of Speakers Conclave, sharing their insights and experiences that have shaped their respective fields. These thought-provoking sessions start at 5:00 pm each day which aims to inspire and engage our community, fostering a spirit of intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning that lies at the core of the PES ethos.

Felicitating distinguished alumni who have achieved a pinnacle in their chosen field and have made the institution proud which will also be followed by a talk by the alumni.

In addition to the enlightening sessions and felicitations, we have curated captivating Musical Evenings featuring performances by prominent singers and artists. Each day brings a musical genius to the PES campus. Musical session starts at 7:30 PM.
