The inauguration and orientation program for First year classes in Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Allied health Sciences for the academic year 2024-2025 was held at PES University’s Electronic city campus. The Chief Guest of the event Dr. S. Sacchidanand, Former Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, in his address congratulated the students for choosing the course and the Institution and advised them to make the most of the opportunities available for learning and become good professionals. He said that students upon completing the course will be in great demand not just in India also across the globe.

Dr. Suresh Krishnamurthy, Medical Director, PESUIMSR asked the students to adopt 5Ps namely passion, purpose, planning, professional and practice as the mantras to become successful. He said that as Medical professionals one should be empathetic to patients.

Dr. J. Surya Prasad, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor during the orientation to the new entrants outlined the key academic, research, and extracurricular opportunities available to them. Students were introduced to the curriculum, faculty members, and support systems designed to enhance their academic and personal experience. He also presented to students on the institution's state-of-the-art laboratories, library resources, and various student welfare activities.

Prof. Ajoy Kumar, COO, introduced to students on the various guiding principles and policies of the University and motivated them to adopt them in their lives to become successful in their chosen careers.

Dr. K. S. Sridhar, Registrar of the University welcomed the gathering while Dr. Hari Prasad T. R. Dean, PESUIMSR presented the vote of thanks.

Present on the occasion was Prof. Nagarjuna, Pro Vice Chancellor, Deans and Principals of various Programs of Study, a large gathering of invitees, parents and students.
