On 14th October 2025, the Department of Community Medicine, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry, PESU Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESUIMSR), observed World Mental Health Day at the Rural Health and Training Centre (RHTC), Lakkur.

“Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies”
The focus was on ensuring mental health care during disasters and crisis situations, emphasizing early diagnosis, timely intervention, and reducing stigma.
