On 10th October 2025, first-semester students from PES University’s Hospitality and Event Management program visited Bharat Glass & Crockeries in Electronic City, Bengaluru. This insightful visit offered students a rare opportunity to explore the backbone of the hospitality industry—tableware, glassware, and commercial kitchen equipment.

- Expert Insights: Mr. Thimmaiah M, Sales Manager, explained the differences between bone china, porcelain, stoneware, and melamine, focusing on durability, heat retention, and suitability for various service scenarios.
- Industrial Exposure: Students explored industrial-sized ovens, dishwashers, mixers, and cooking ranges, gaining practical knowledge of back-of-house operations.
- Tactile Learning: Handling different grades of glassware and cutlery helped students understand quality assessment and pricing structures.
