PESU Students Attend Water Awareness and Appreciation Session
The second‑semester students attended a “Water Awareness and Appreciation” session on February 25, 2026, guided by Dr. Thashneem T. Bhanu. The session emphasized the importance of water as a vital source of life and highlighted the need to understand different types of water and their uses.
Students were introduced to various categories of water-such as spring, mineral, alkaline, sparkling, purified, and electrolyte-enhanced varieties-while participating in an engaging tasting and sensory appreciation activity. They learned to identify subtle differences in taste, texture, and mineral composition, gaining insight into how these factors influence hydration and overall wellness.
The interactive session offered students an opportunity to develop awareness, refine sensory perception, and appreciate the role of water quality in daily life.
