PESU Students Drive Social Change at “Fix The System” Innovation Event
The ISOCIAL Club of the Department of BBA & BBA Business Analytics organized an engaging and high‑energy event titled “Fix The System – Social Innovation Arena” on February 25, 2026 at the PES University RR CamThe session brought together 95 students, grouped into 30 teams, who were challenged to transform real societal problems into practical, actionable solutions. Each team was assigned a real‑world issue along with a fixed budget between ₹25,000 and ₹50,000, encouraging them to think like responsible social entrepreneurs.
The event began with creative mind‑mapping, followed by solution development that included initiative naming, operational planning, impact models, and budget justification. A surprise mid‑event twist—such as budget cuts or tighter deadlines—tested participants’ adaptability and real‑time problem‑solving.
In the Final Pitch Arena, teams presented their ideas through dynamic formats including skits, campaigns, and structured pitches. The event concluded with each participant committing to one real action they would take to contribute to positive social change.
Winners:
- 1st Place: Adithi and Team
- 2nd Place: Bhoomi and Team
- 3rd Place: Ishani and Team
The event provided students with hands‑on experience in innovation, teamwork, strategic planning, branding, budgeting, communication, and entrepreneurial thinking. It also strengthened their confidence in pitching and designing socially impactful solutions.
