Introduction to Quantum Technologies and Circuit Design Workshop

The participants were introduced to the world of Quantum Technologies followed by a hands-on circuit design workshop. Dr. Gajanan Honnavar discussed the four major pillars of Quantum technologies. He spoke about the miniaturization caused due to the advancement in technology and spoke about the inclination towards Quantum technologies and its significance in the semiconductor industry. Dr.Subhash Kulkarni, Dr.Shashidhar Tantry and Prof Sheyus Gowtham shared valuable insights. Attendees designed a basic ALU using gate level logic. The workshop was held on November 11, 2021.
