REPORT OF INAUGURATION OF I-B. PHARM AND I – PHARM.D CLASSES 2022-23 BATCH @ HN CAMPUS

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PES University held the inauguration function of I-B. Pharm and I-Pharm. D classes 2022-23 batch on September 12, 2022.

The event was chaired by Chancellor, PES University, Dr. M.R. Doreswamy accompanied by dignitaries - Dr. J. Surya Prasad, Vice Chancellor, PESU Dr. KS Sridhar, Registrar, PESU Prof. M.V. Satyanarayan, HN Campus Director Dr. J. Saravanan, Dean, FPS, PESU.

The event began at 10.30 am with the invocation prayer of Lord Ganapathy and Devi Sharadamba.

This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries and one fresh student signifying the ignition of knowledge ending darkness.

The Chair was welcomed by Dr. J. Saravanan highlighting the journey of PES and the achievements of the Founder, Dr. MRD.

The presidential address was delivered by the chair with his motivational words to the students; the efforts that could turn 30 student colleges into 22000 universities. He imbibed confidence in parents as well with a talk on scholarships and well-equipped classrooms. laboratories and placement assistance to all eligible students. With the directions of Dr. MRD, the orientation classes were scheduled to begin immediately post-event.

To direct the young minds towards self-development and enlighten them about life principles, a handbook by Sri. Swami Vivekananda was handed over to all fresh students

Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. K. Lakshman to thank the dais & make a vital beginning in the life of freshers.
