PESU EC Campus 77th Independence Day Celebration

Mr. Shreyas G Hosur, studied B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from 2005-2009 and belongs to the First Batch of Students of PES School of Engineering, the present PES University EC Campus. After clearing Civil Services Exam, he joined as Officer Trainee Government of India Official from Sept. 2012 and Dec 2012 at Bhopal Madhya Pradesh and at Vadodara, Gujarat from Dec 2012 to June 2014. Mr. Shreyas G Hosur joined Indian Railway Accounts Service in 2012 as an officer and is currently serving as the deputy financial advisor and chief accounts officer in the construction department of the South Western Railway. Subsequently he served Assistant Divisional Financial Manager, and as Divisional Finance Manager in the Indian Railways, Government of India in Bengaluru between June 2014 and Nov. 2016. Later he served as Assistant Director of National Technical Research Organisation, Government of India in New Delhi from Nov. 2016 to Nov. 2020. Currently he is working as Deputy Financial Advisor, Government of India Official since Jan. 2021 in Bengaluru. A Special Achievement that needs Special mention about Mr. Shreyas G Hosur. Shreyas G Hosur made India especially the Indian Railways very proud after he completed the gruelling Ironman Triathlon in Hamburg Germany in June 2022. The Ironman Triathlon is described as the toughest single-day sports event in the world. Ironman Triathlon includes 3.8-km swimming, 180-km cycling and 42.2-km running. Mr. Shreyas G Hosur completed the event in 13 hours and 26 minutes. The finishers of the event are popularly known as ‘IRONMAN’, befitting the mental and physical strength which the race demands. Mr. Shreyas is also the first officer from the non-uniformed civil services to complete the event.
