Talk on tackling discrimination through design

Design and discrimination intersect in profound ways, influencing how individuals experience the world around them. This concept explores how design—whether in architecture, technology, products, or services can reinforce bias and exclusion or foster inclusivity and equality. The workshop explored how design can unintentionally contribute to discrimination. Analysis of real-world examples of inclusive design and strategies for integrating inclusivity into design processes highlighted the role of designers in creating equitable solutions for all. The talk on Design and discrimination by architect Anuradha B was organized by faculty of Architecture on March 25, 2025 at RR campus.
