Bengaluru, April 18, 2026 — The Center of Excellence in Applied Mathematics (CEAM), Department of Science and Humanities, EC Campus, in collaboration with MathWorks, organized MATLAB CodeCraze, a one‑day hackathon held at the MRD Student Center, PES University EC Campus.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Nagarjuna Sadineni, Pro Vice Chancellor of PES University, in the presence of Mr. Anish Bomson, Sales Account Manager – Education, MathWorks India, and Dr. Deepa Nair, Chairperson, Department of Science and Humanities.

A total of 29 teams participated in the competition, demonstrating outstanding creativity, analytical thinking, and coding capability through MATLAB‑based problem‑solving. The hackathon offered students an opportunity to engage in experiential learning, strengthen teamwork, and gain industry‑oriented exposure.
