Synthesis '26: A 24-Hour Journey of Innovation, Strategy, and Problem Solving

The Forum of Management Clubs (FOMC), EC Campus, successfully organized Synthesis '26, a 24-hour overnight multi-domain hackathon that brought together bright minds, industry-driven challenges, and innovative thinking under one roof. Conducted on August 28 to 29, 2026 at the MRD Student Center, the event provided students with an immersive experiential learning platform where analytical skills, creativity, teamwork, and resilience were put to the test.

A Platform for Real-World Problem Solving

Synthesis '26 was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by exposing students to authentic business challenges. A total of 13 teams participated in the hackathon, competing to develop innovative and practical solutions to complex real-world problems.

The event received valuable support from industry partners who contributed and validated problem statements. Organizations including Kongsi Tea Bar, India Fix Solutions, Neilson Financial Services UK, Duti Corp, Chrysalis, Company Inn, The Self Haven, Vantage AI, and Sutherland played a crucial role in ensuring that participants worked on challenges that reflected contemporary business realities.

The Challenge Begins

The hackathon unfolded over three challenging rounds, each designed to test participants' analytical capabilities and decision-making skills under pressure. Teams were provided with datasets in stages, with every round introducing new criteria and parameters that required them to rethink, refine, and adapt their strategies.

Participants navigated through the preliminary rounds under the guidance of experienced senior student mentors and faculty members. The following morning witnessed the final presentations before a prestigious panel of five judges representing diverse domains
