PES University Cultivates Future Leaders at Brand Summit 2024
The second day of the Brand Summit hosted by PES University focused on fostering collaborative change between industry leaders and the ever-evolving landscape of branding concepts, effectively managing the gap in technology. The summit aimed to instill a profound understanding of branding, advertising, and communication concepts.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Shailashree Haridas, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce, highlighted the achievements of EY as a major recruiter at PES University. She emphasized the significance of management and leadership programs conducted by the University for the Holistic Development of students.
Meher Taj, Director and distinguished marketing leader overseeing branding, marketing, and communications at EY Global Delivery Services, shared her extensive expertise in the B2B and B2C marketing sectors. Meher provided insights into digital transformation, emphasizing how the speed of organizational adoption is crucial. She noted, "When digitalization is integrated into marketing, it acts as a catalyst in your journey towards customers."
Mr. Prasanna Rai, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Head of Ecommerce Business and Third-Party Sourcing at Wipro Consumer Care, delivered invaluable insights as a keynote speaker. He shared the "4 C's" that shaped his career: Concept clarity, Competitive clarity, code of the brand, and Contemporize the brand.
Distinguished entrepreneur and marketing technology enthusiast, Mr. Bharath B. Bommai, with over 13 years of experience, spoke about IB Cube, offering advisory support and developing innovative solutions for digital marketing. He emphasized that the mode of marketing depends on the nature of the business.
Abhilasha Kumar, Head of Marketing – ISB Executive Education, highlighted various aspects of spearheading brand building, product marketing, digital marketing, and digital transformation initiatives.
