Workshop on handlooms and spaces

Architect Pooja explored the connection between handlooms and architectural spaces, showing how textile patterns can inspire design. The workshop allowed students to create mood boards using handloom fabrics, translating these patterns into spatial concepts. The interaction provided a creative platform for students to integrate traditional crafts into modern design, enhancing their understanding of the cultural influence on architecture. The Faculty of Architecture hosted the workshop titled Handlooms and Spaces conducted by Architect Pooja at RR campus on August 20, 2024.
