Field visit to winery

Students of hospitality and event management visited a winery to understand the process of harvesting grapes, environmental and social initiatives implemented by wineries and how wineries position themselves in the market and build brand recognition. They learnt more about the practical nuances of cheese pairing, complementing different cuisines, wine etiquette, and tasting and appreciating wine. The field visit to Big Banyan Vineyard and Winery was organized by the department of BBA HEM on September 13, 2024.
