Typography came alive at the Department of Design, PES University in a vibrant workshop that celebrated the art and science of letterforms.

This immersive session invited students to explore the creative interplay of strokes, color, and regional scripts, transforming type into a powerful tool of visual storytelling. Participants experimented with vernacular letterforms, infusing their work with cultural richness and linguistic depth.

From dynamic layouts to expressive type compositions, students learned to manipulate strokes and hues to evoke emotion, movement, and meaning. The workshop culminated in a scroll art piece—a unique fusion of typography, storytelling, and artistic flair—reflecting each student’s personal design journey.
