Aatmatrisha 2025 Inauguration - April 4th

C.R. Bobby, a renowned musician and director, also delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of persistence, excellence, and service. She also spoke about the power of students, urging the audience not to underestimate their potential, and praising PES University for nurturing such remarkable talent. Bobby’s words resonated deeply with the students, many of whom were excited about her presence.

Ankita Amar took the stage next, offering a heartfelt speech that honored Dr. Doreswamy’s memory. She shared an anecdote about her own experiences, reflecting on the dedication and legacy that Dr. Doreswamy had built through PES University. Amar also humorously linked her experiences in her film “Just Married” to some of the relevant experiences that students go through at universities. Both Shine and Ankita sang a beautiful rendition of “Paravashanadenu” and “Agar Tum Saath Ho”, much to the delight of the crowd.

Shine Shetty, the celebrated actor and winner of Bigg Boss, delivered a charismatic speech, reflecting on his debut as a hero in the movie “Just Married” and sharing insights into his experiences in the entertainment industry. He also expressed his appreciation towards the university and particularly The Department of Performing Arts. His speech concluded with anecdotes from his experience of working with the other chief guest and his co-star Ankita Amar.

The Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Suryaprasad then addressed the audience with a brief yet impactful speech, filled with encouragement and a positive outlook for the future. His words resonated with the students and concluded by urging students to make the best of the evening, adding a lighthearted touch to the event.

The presence of Dr. J. Suryaprasad, Vice Chancellor, PES University, Dr. K S Sridhar, Registrar, PES University, Dr V Krishna, Dean of Student Affairs along with the esteemed chief guests, added great significance to the event. Their participation and support made the occasion truly memorable and inspiring for all attendees, marking a remarkable day in the institution’s journey.
