Field study of hotel laundry operations

Laundry operations in the hospitality industry is an important part of back-of-house housekeeping functions. Field study of laundry operations of a leading luxury hotel provided an exposure to the workflow, hygiene protocols, industrial laundry equipment and sustainable linen management practices to the students. The Department of BBA HEM in association with Professional Housekeepers Association, the appellate body of housekeepers in the country organized the field visit to the advanced laundry at the Otera hotel in Bangalore on April 12, 2025.
