Guest talk on 3D Bioprinting of skin by alumnus

The speaker, Ms. Pooja Venkatesh explained why bioprinting is recognized as a New Approach Methodology as a viable alternative to animal testing and organ transplantation and is a promising technique in pharmaceutical industry and medical science. The talk by Ms Pooja Venkatesh, alumnus and co-founder and co-CEO of Next Big Innovation Labs that has successfully carried out printing of skin known as Innoskin, was organized by the Department of Biotechnology at RR campus on August 13, 2025.
