CXO Talk on Event Technology Bridges Academia and Industry at PES University
PES University hosted an insightful Event Tech Talk on February 20, 2026 at the GJBC Block, offering students a deep dive into the rapidly evolving world of event technology. The session commenced at 10:30 a.m. and brought together academic learning and industry expertise in an engaging and interactive format.
The talk was delivered by Mr. Santos Premraj, Co‑Founder and Product Head of Ticket9, a leading platform in the event technology space. The session began with an introduction highlighting his entrepreneurial journey and his contributions to modern event management solutions.
In his keynote address, Mr. Santos Premraj spoke on the theme “Event Tech Talk”, providing students with an in‑depth understanding of the technological backbone that drives today’s large‑scale events. He explained how platforms like Ticket9 are transforming ticketing systems, enhancing user engagement, and enabling smarter event operations. Topics such as AI‑driven event setup, crowd management technologies, dynamic pricing models, and digital engagement strategies were discussed in detail.
Mr. Premraj also shared his personal journey of building a startup from the ground up, emphasizing the importance of innovation, adaptability, and responding quickly to market feedback.
