Felicitation to Toppers and Inauguration of 1ST year diploma Classes was held on July 05, 2026 at Dr. MRD Auditorium, PES University, RR Campus. Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Hon'ble Chancellor of PES University, inaugurated the program & Prof. M. V. Sathyanarayana, Director HN Campus, presided over the program.
Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Hon'ble Chancellor of PES University, congratulated the students and parents on the occasion of Felicitation to Toppers and Inauguration by welcoming them the portals of PES. He stressed on the motto of PES, Perseverance, Excellence and Service, stating that education is not only informative but it is a combination of knowledge and wisdom. He suggested the students to have good health by adopting good habits. He advised the students to have a thirst to develop the Life Long Learning Process. He added that the Institution is continuously striving for the overall development of students through a mentoring system and mentioned about the merit scholarship which is the unique quality of PES Institutions.
He stressed his point by mentioning 4 things to be remembered i.e L I F E – Life Long Learning, Innovation, Finance, and Excellence. He Suggested the Students to not to get distracted from mobiles & to read 24 Hours per Week & work hard to achieve Higher Goals. Mentoring and Technology should be the driving forces in the life of a student, in his distinguished speech.
In this function Prof, MRD Merit scholarship has been awarded to 45 students of 2nd year and 3rd year students of polytechnic. Merit certificates and 20% of the tuition fees have been distributed to students.
Prof. M. V. Sathyanarayana, Director, HN Campus, Prof. Devaraju H. N., Principal, PES Polytechnic were also present during this occasion.
