The Department of Pharmacology at PES University Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESUIMSR) continues to foster academic excellence, as evidenced by an impressive performance at the State-Level Pharmacology Quiz Competition held at Apollo Medical College, Chittoor.
The competition brought together around 60 teams from medical colleges across the state, creating a challenging environment for participants to demonstrate their knowledge and analytical skills. The quiz extended beyond the conventional undergraduate MBBS curriculum and covered a wide spectrum of advanced topics, including novel drug therapies, monoclonal antibodies, pharmacogenomics, recent advances in clinical trials, and emerging developments in pharmacotherapeutics.
In a remarkable display of academic strength, all five teams representing PESUIMSR successfully qualified for the semifinal round. This achievement alone reflects the students' strong conceptual understanding, rigorous preparation, and commitment to continuous learning.
