Teacher’s Day 2026 Celebrated with Gratitude and Joy at PES University

Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future by inspiring, mentoring, and guiding students toward excellence. In recognition of their invaluable contributions, the Faculty of Management and Commerce, through the Department of BBA & BBA Business Analytics at PES University, organized a vibrant Teacher’s Day Celebration on September 7th, 2026 at the Tech Park Ground Floor, Ring Road Campus. The event brought together students and faculty members for an evening filled with appreciation, entertainment, and memorable moments.

The celebration commenced with a graceful invocation dance that set a warm and auspicious tone for the occasion. The performance created a welcoming atmosphere and served as a fitting tribute to the educators whose dedication and commitment continue to influence generations of students.

Following the inaugural performance, a series of engaging and interactive games were organized for the faculty members. The enthusiastic participation of the teachers added excitement and energy to the event, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, laughter, and friendly competition. These activities provided a refreshing opportunity for faculty members and students to connect outside the classroom environment.

Adding to the festive spirit, students showcased their creativity and talent through a variety of cultural performances presented between the games. The performances kept the audience entertained and reflected the appreciation and gratitude students hold for their teachers. The blend of dance, entertainment, and interactive activities ensured that the celebration remained lively and engaging throughout the evening.

One of the key highlights of the event was the sense of togetherness it fostered among the academic community. The cheerful participation of both teachers and students transformed the occasion into a joyous celebration that honored the contributions of educators while creating lasting memories for everyone present. Approximately 50 attendees participated in the event, contributing to its success and vibrant atmosphere.

The event was organized by Kalaantrika, the Cultural Club, with the support of several student organizations including Bruins, I-Social, Avyana, Rhetorx, and Moments. Student organizers handled various responsibilities such as event planning, venue coordination, anchoring, poster design, photography, videography, technical support, crowd management, and report preparation, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and organizational skills.

The organizing team was led by Rishita Patil and Achala M. Nagendra, while the welcome address and event briefing were delivered by Rishita Patil and Amulya Bellary. Their efforts played a significant role in ensuring the smooth execution of the celebration and creating a memorable experience for all attendees.

The organizers also expressed their gratitude to Dr. Jayashree Sapra, Prof. Manasa, Prof. Pratibha Dutt, Prof. Niveditha, and Dr. Srilakshmi for their support and encouragement in making the event a success. Faculty members from the BBA and BBA Business Analytics Department attended the celebration and were at the heart of the festivities.
