Orientation and White Coat Ceremony Marks the Beginning of a Noble Medical Journey at PESUIMSR

The Orientation and White Coat Ceremony for the third batch of MBBS students at PES University Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESUIMSR) welcomed approximately 250 aspiring doctors on September 27, 2026.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. S. Sacchidanand, along with distinguished academic and medical leaders including Dr. Surya Prasad J, Vice Chancellor of PES University; Dr. Suresh Krishnamurthy, Medical Director, PESUIMSR; Dr. Ramesh Krishna K, Dean & Principal, PESUIMSR; and Dr. Barath Suresh, Assistant Medical Director, PESUIMSR. Their presence highlighted the institution's commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals.

The orientation programme introduced students to the vision, values, and ethos of PESUIMSR while emphasizing the responsibilities, ethics, and professional standards expected in the medical profession. Through inspiring addresses, the dignitaries encouraged students to pursue excellence with compassion, integrity, and dedication.

A key highlight of the event was the White Coat Ceremony, a symbolic tradition that marks the transition of students into the medical profession. The administration of the Charaka Oath reinforced the principles of professionalism, patient care, ethical practice, and lifelong service to society.
